More
than a million people all over the world in a variety of churches have
completed the Alpha course in the last few years.
Alpha is supported by the main Christian denominations
and offers an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a
relaxed, non-threatening setting, over ten thought provoking weekly
sessions. It is low key, friendly and fun.
In Brief:
A – anyone interested in finding
out more about Christianity is welcome.
L – learning and laughter. It is
possible to learn about Christianity and have fun.
P – pasta and pudding. Eating a
meal together helps people to get to know each other.
H – helping one another. Small
groups give everyone the chance to discuss the issues.
A – ask anything. No question is
regarded as too simple or too hostile.
