We recognise
that all Christians belong to "the Body of Christ" universal,
and as such have a right to worship in any church. However, with ‘membership’
there are a number of both responsibilities and privileges.
We believe in
accountability and covering, in fellowshipping together and in giving of
tithes and offerings. While we don’t believe in legalism we do try to
keep to the spirit of our legal constitution and all who seek to apply
for membership are invited prayerfully to consider this document before
applying to the church council for consideration.
Names on the
church roll do not ensure your place in heaven – rather, that it is
written in the Book of Life. We seek to accept all who ask to become
part of this ‘Body’ just as God accepts all who ask to be accepted
in Christ Jesus.
